Our annual deer hunt for the physically challenged is held at the Tyson’s Creek Baptist Church Family Enrichment Center, Bear Creek, NC. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission issues a special permit for the early hunt. We take approximately 70 hunters and this is a rifle hunt for bucks & does. Our volunteer guides provide their own prime hunting spots and give us their time and money to set up hunting sites that are adaptable to hunters with disabilities. The entire community pulls together to make this event bigger and better each year. This event is scheduled for late September and is a terrific hunt for all involved.
