Arkabutla Lake Hunt

Vicksburg District (US Army Corps of Engineers) – This is a muzzleloader hunt held every year in early December for deer. Approximately 50 hunters take part in this event. Each hunter is permitted to harvest one buck and two does, and blackpowder rifles are required. Hunters must be paraplegic, quadriplegic or ambulatory with crutches. The hunt takes place on 57,000 acres of U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers property near Arkabutla Lake. Please contact the office at (662) 562-6261 for more info and how to get signed up.
