Every year, SCI selects up to two accomplished disabled hunters who have overcome great odds to get back into the outdoors and who also have helped others do the same thing. This is the most prestigious honor for challenged sportsmen & women. The award is presented at their annual convention in Nevada and every Pathfinder winner gets to go on a 10-day African safari. Ashlee Lundvall of Cody, Wyoming, was the 2017 Pathfinder Award winner.
If you know of a deserving individual, please go to SCI Foundation’s site for more info on how to nominate someone for the award. Applications are due at the SCI Foundation office by October 1, 2017. Direct any questions regarding the application process to Kathy Butler by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: (520) 620-1220 ext. 336.
