Yank Clark Invitational Bass Tournament for People with Disabilities The Yank Clark Invitational Bass Tournament will take place in April. The event is organized by Lakeshore Foundation of Birmingham, AL. This event matches one disabled fisherman with one volunteer club fisherman (two people per boat) for a normal style competitive bass tournament.
Those needing personal assistance in the boat can take a helper with them. You can participate no matter what state you are from. The event we named after Ray “Yank” Clark who has been putting this fantastic opportunity together for the past 12 years. The world would be a much better place if there were enough Yanks to go around! He has always done the event first class. It is conducted on Lake Eufaula which is on the AL/GA border. Eufaula is known as one of the best bass lakes in the region. The two-day event will include many prizes and place awards, a catered meal on Saturday and food and drinks while fishing. The cost is $30.00 per participant. Some individuals will be given scholarships to cover their entry fees. Lodging is the responsibility of the participants, and is available at Lakepoint State Park.
