Manufacturing Genuine Thrills, Inc. (MGT) developed and sells the IKAN Bowler®, which allows any wheelchair user (even power wheelchairs) to bowl. The wheelchair bowler is able to control the speed, direction, and timing of the bowling ball’s release. Wheelchair movement and the unique bowling arm generate the energy to propel the ball down the lane. Stopping the wheelchair sends the ball in the direction the bowler wants.
IKAN Bowler® is manufactured in Brandon, Florida, with durable aluminum, stainless steel, and tough PVC plastic. It has been tested by people of all abilities and has met safety and precision standards. It easily mounts to the IKAN Universal Mount or to the IKAN Center Post Mount without the need of extra tools. MGT will ship its products worldwide.
Stay tuned for updates on a free online league that is being implemented to allow folks from all over the US and the world to bowl in three-month leagues year-round in friendly competition together. The IKAN Bowler® is sanctioned by the USBC for league and tournament play bowling with and/or against able-bodied bowlers or fellow IKAN users.

Bill Miller is one of MGT’s co-founders, and he happens to be a ventilator-dependent quadriplegic. Bill was credited with co-inventing the IKAN Bowler® and has also bowled 24 games of 200 or better with the IKAN Bowler® while driving his chair with his mouth (by sip-and-puff control).
